Hanami on Corriedale Chunky
Ready to ship
The word hanami (花見) literally means “flower viewing”, and it’s the Japanese tradition of welcoming spring by gathering underneath sakura trees (preferably with some snacks or even a bento 🍱😋), and it’s definitely one of my favorite springtime activities. With this colorway, I wanted to capture the essence of the joy I feel when looking up at the sakura blossoms with the clear blue sky in the background. Knitting or crocheting with this would be like crafting with the tangible version of a bright spring day, with the scent of cherry blossoms in the air, and the warm gentle sunlight playing across your picnic blanket under the most gorgeous cherry tree ☀️🌸.
